With an avant-garde and extremely creative soul, Marlene Oliveira always felt that her future had to combine her job as a creator to the immaterial world that has constantly aroused her curiosity. And in 2011, she conceived her own eponymous brand, which is mainly based in moral values of respect for the environment and the living beings.
In 2010, she was selected to the grand finale of an international contest organized by Arts of Fashion Foundation, in the USA. Later in 2012, she won the 2nd award for the most innovative in the fashion area, in a pageant organized by Citeve. In that same year, she was one of the winners of the Young Creators Award, becoming later the only winner chosen to represent Portugal in the VI Biannual Young Creators CPLP, in Brazil.
With a line of production, which is noted for the fair work and trade, the designer uses essentially biologically origin materials, such as organic cotton and natural linen, also using some materials of recycled fibres, such as polyester (PET) and the recycled cotton. Giving her exemplary creative and innovative path, Marlene Oliveira has become a national reference on emerging ethical fashion.
